 What's New for the 2024 MAZDA CX-90?
Mazda's impressive SUV line grows in 2024 with the introduction of the Mazda CX-90. This midsize crossover will have three rows of seating with an upscale cabin and premium features. It will be the largest SUV offered by Mazda, taking over the position once held by the midsize Mazda CX-9 crossover. A curved, tall roof will enhance its broad dimensions and sporty, angled contouring over the side panels. At the front, the Mazda CX-90 shows off a molded fascia that rounds into athletic air vents, and this fascia is supported by a metallic bar for a prestigious touch. A chrome accent bar and an innovative mesh design bring the stunning grille's width to life. The headlights show off a bent light bar broken into two parts.
The Mazda CX-90's dashboard is designed with a horizontal accent piece that crosses through the center stack. This stack boasts a sleek interface with toggle switches for the climate control system and a 12.3-inch central display screen. The center console has a clean, wide design with Kakenui accent stitching, and this stitching dresses up the seats as well. Additional features offered exclusively in the 2024 Mazda CX-90's higher trims are individual air vents, USB ports, second-row captain's chairs or bench-style seats, heated seats, high-end materials, and a panoramic sunroof. Its safety tech includes a blind-spot detector, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking.
There are two powertrains available for the new Mazda CX-90. The turbocharged 3.3-liter, I-6, the mild-hybrid unit gives you 340 horsepower. The plug-in hybrid, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder system offers 323 horsepower. All trims include an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. They are also equipped with Mazda Intelligent Drive Select, which offers special drive modes for Normal, Towing, Off-Road, and Sport.
