Serving Troy, MI

As you look for your next smaller SUV, you will notice that the 2020 Mazda CX-30 and the Mazda CX-5 are both compact crossover SUVs. These automotive siblings are placed next to each other in the current Mazda line, so you may assume that they are mostly identical. The Mazda CX-30's base MSRP is several thousand dollars below the CX'5-s base MSRP. To determine which of these beautiful Mazda crossover SUVs is a great fit for your lifestyle and needs, you need to understand how these models differ and the reason for their price differential. Our friendly associates at Suburban Mazda of Troy are ecstatic about being a part of your vehicle selection.

The essential differences between the 2020 Mazda CX-30 and the Mazda CX-5 begin under the hood. The Mazda CX-30 is a new model in the SUV line for 2020, and it is offered with one powertrain. This powertrain is the same entry-level option available for the Mazda CX-5. A 2.5-liter Skyactiv®-G gas engine produces approximately 186 horsepower. The Mazda CX-5 is also available with a 250-horsepower engine in top trim levels. This power comes from a Dynamic Turbo 2.5-liter engine. Across both models, you can appreciate improved performance from features like available all-wheel drive, G-Vectoring Control Plus, off-road traction assistance, power steering, anti-lock disc brakes, and many other features.

The exterior design of the Mazda CX-30 is comparable to the Mazda CX-5's style in many ways, but the Mazda CX-5 is slightly larger with height throughout the roof and hood. Both of these stunning models show off undulating contours coupled with smooth, graceful flow throughout. The Mazda CX-30 has much thicker molding throughout the lower body. Both models have a flat-nosed front end with a hexagonal grille outlined in chrome. The Mazda CX-30's LED headlights are thinner and bolder than the Mazda CX'5's headlights, which are beautifully narrow and stretched. You can easily compare these two impressive crossover SUV models when you drop by Suburban Mazda of Troy soon.

The Mazda CX-5 has a few extra standard features and options that you will not find in the Mazda CX-30, and some of these are driver's seat memory functions and a Bose premium audio system. However, you may be thrilled to discover that many of their standard or optional features are shared. Equipment that is found across both models includes a dual-zone automatic climate control system, a power liftgate with remote locking, smart device integration, in-car wireless internet connectivity, an active driving display, remote vehicle start via an exclusive app, a Commander Control feature, a floating display screen for the infotainment system, MAZDA CONNECT™, assistive safety tech and more.
