2020 MAZDA CX-30 vs 2020 Jeep Renegade

Serving Troy, MI

As an all-new model for 2020, the Mazda CX-30 has the power to turn heads everywhere it goes. This compact crossover SUV joins Mazda’s impressive line with athletic appeal and capabilities. Because the Mazda CX-30 is new to the market, you need to learn how it ranks compared to other compact crossover SUVs. The 2020 Jeep Renegade is priced slightly above the Mazda CX-30, so you naturally want to see how these models compare in critical areas.

The 2020 Mazda CX-30 is easy to fall in love with thanks to its sleek, prowling exterior style. Exciting curvature rolls over the roof and across the hood. The hood shows off a stunning swell before it cascades into the grille. This mesh-style grille is underlined by a chrome piece that extends underneath the LED headlights. Throughout the Mazda CX-30’s exterior, the curvature is in stark contrast to the sharp lines and box-like profile of the Renegade. The 2020 Jeep Renegade also has linear elements throughout its rectangular grille and a boxy shape through the wheel wells.

The differences between the Mazda CX-30 and the Renegade continue inside their cabins. The Mazda CX-30’s clean, flowing design from the exterior carries inside the cabin with a hassle-free look across the dashboard. The front end’s style is defined by a single line that runs horizontally through most of the dashboard and an angled portal for the floating display screen. Additional features in the Mazda CX-30 may include USB ports, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a Bose sound system, SiriusXM satellite radio, an active driver’s display in the windshield, leather seating, and more. The Renegade’s interior design, on the other hand, has segments throughout the dashboard. The infotainment system’s screen is sectioned between air vents and manual controls for the temperature management system.

If you choose to drive the Mazda CX-30, your crossover will be powered by a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. This powertrain is standard across all four trims, and it gives you 186 horsepower. The engine is connected to a six-speed auto sport transmission and front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional. In comparison, the 2020 Jeep Renegade has two engine possibilities. They are a 177-horsepower, 1.3-liter turbo engine, and a 180-horsepower, 2.4-liter Tigershark engine.
