2019 Mazda CX-3 vs 2018 Mazda CX-3

Proudly Serving Troy, MI

For 2019, Mazda has returned the CX-3 to make the small crossover more sophisticated and efficient. The 2019 CX-3 has upgraded materials, including quality insulation to reduce road noise and all-leather seats. Sporty performance comes easy for this SUV, thanks to a fuel-efficient engine.

The 2018 CX-3 was also fine-tuned, with an updated suspension, heated steering wheel, and a power-adjustable driver's seat. And smooth handling is a given for this vehicle.

Performance

The 2019 Mazda CX-3 is equipped with the SKYACTIV®-G 2.0-liter engine. When drivers combine that with the available SKYACTIV®-Drive six-speed automatic transmission, they’re behind the wheel of a 148 horsepower machine. In 2019, Mazda also recalibrated the power steering and suspension for a smoother ride. For 2018, Mazda introduced the company’s G-Vectoring Control system. That reduces engine torque and improves stability as drivers take the CX-3 around a corner.

Appearance

The 2019 Mazda CX-3 evokes a sense of luxury with its elegant appearance. The available 18-inch wheels and piano black pillar accents on the Touring trim is a must-see. New wheels, a new grille, and new lights on the backend are just a few of the features of the 2019 Mazda CX-3 unique body style. The 2018 Mazda CX-3 exterior is a distinctive style, and sporty, with its body contouring on the vehicle’s sides and long hood. 16-inch wheels are standard, with the available 18-inch wheels on the Touring and Grand Touring trims.

Features

For 2019, Mazda has redesigned the CX-3 center armrest and console spacing to facilitate increased storage for drivers. The rear armrests have been redesigned as well, complete with cupholders. The tech is also impressive, featuring the Mazda Connect infotainment system with voice command and hands-free calling via Bluetooth. The 2018 Mazda CX-3 features an underfloor cubby in the cargo area, which is unique to its class and offers additional storage (though not accessible while the vehicle is in motion). The 2018 CX-3 infotainment combines touch and rotary-knob commands, providing drivers with multiple interfacing options.
