The 2017 Mazda3 offers a standard SKYACTIV®-G1 2.0L DOHC 4-cylinder with VVT with 155 horsepower in the Sport and the Touring trim. The Grand Touring trim offers the SKYACTIV®-G1 2.5L DOHC 4-cylinder with VVT with 184 horsepower. While you can get the 2.5 liter in the Grand Touring trim of the 2017 Mazda3, the upgraded engine is available in both the Touring and Grand Touring trims of the 2018 Mazda3.

Appearance

The 2018 Mazda3 offers a sporty exterior with Mazda's signature grille and foglight. The rear of the Mazda3 features an integrated rear spoiler. On the interior, the 2018 Mazda3 features a sporty interior with a combination analog plus digital gauges along plus a digital heads-up display. The 2017 Mazda3 has a similar exterior appearance to the 2018 model. The similarity to the 2018 model continues on the interior with the digital plus analog gauges plus the head-ups display.
